Sentimentality Distorts True Picture

Remember: Obama Is Not a Progressive
Obama, same as all current District of Corruption politicians, is corporate backed--I mean, come on, he brags about his followers backing him with 2 bucks, 5 bucks, small amounts (Dr. Howard Dean started that), which is total hooey: OK, so 40% of his backing came from "grass roots" contributions, but 60% of his money came from the coal and nuclear energy boyz (Obama is pro-coal and nuclear power); the pharmaceutical industry (Obama is against universal healthcare and pro-profit-making HMOs); Wall Street (Obama is thinking of Jim Corsine (former CEO of Goldman-Sachs) as his Sec'y of Treasury--he may as well keep Hank Appallingson (Paulson) in that position); the Military Industrial Complex (Obama is not an anti-war candidate--he is not a peace candidate--remember, he said he's going to find a place for Colon's Pal, a lying dog, in his administration--and he is for keeping troops in Iraq--and he's for extending our troop commitment in Afghanistan--and he has threatened Russia over its invasion of the US-supported-flunky nation of Georgia--and he has carried on G.W. Bush's accusations and provocations and threats against Iran and has continued Bush's considering of Iran as a champion terrerist nation intent upon destroying our sacred Israel, another country we totally support. Obama has also said he will defend Israel to the end of mankind if necessary and he has threatened to take US forces into Pakistan in pursuit of Talibani and Al Quedani (ooooh, that scary Al Queda bunch is still around and so great a threat to US "freedoms"). Obama voted a big loud "Aye" in giving the Pentagon a trillion dollar budget--so, don't think this dude is for peace anywhere); the Real Estate and Insurance and Financial Industry (Obama backs the 750 billion dollar boondoggle bail-out of the crookedest bunch of funky-butt snakes-in-the-grass working the Wall Street blackmarket these days--the schemers, the flim-flammers that wrecked our economy--whole passels of CEOs, including Jim Corsine, who should be doing time right now and paying back all the subprime mortgage loan monies he and his Goldman-Sachs stooges stole by swindling people who could not afford these overpriced homes and outrageous rents into foolishly putting themselves in the deepest of debts--these crooked bastards should be wiped out paying reparations for their crimes--instead they are movin' on up to private islands and private yachts and whores and bimbos and party babes and all the pleasures you and I will never know--and then adding insult to injury, they are grabbing big chunks of that 750 billion to bail their own asses out of debt with huge ungodly bonuses--a total spitting in the face of American homeowners (property tax payers) and coming down hard on local distributors of goods in favor of importing all our goods from China because there is no Main Street in this country anymore--and there hasn't been a Main Street anywhere since the 1990s--Main Street has been deserted in favor of big developers being given large plots of local land to build shopping malls, the new Amurican main streets--lorded over by Wallmart, K Mart, Home Depot (all importers of cheap (and cheaply made, too) foreign goods)--there is no local distribution of goods (like giving local farmers a place to deliver and offer their goods for sale) anywhere around--Obama doesn't know anything about Economics or Sociology--he is afterall a lawyer--a corporate lawyer at that!). Obama's chief of staff is going to be a right-wing nutjob Dumbocrat from Slick Willie's old Patriot Act-NAFTA-GAAP/GAAT-WTO-Communications giveaway administration, this Rahm Emanuel, an old Chicago political buddy--check out what the Huffingandpuffing Post says about this rascal:

In offering the post of White House chief of staff to Emanuel, Obama turned to a fellow Chicago politician with a far different style from his own, a man known for his bluntness as well as his single-minded determination.

Emanuel, he was a political and policy aide in Bill Clinton's White House. Leaving that, he turned to investment banking, then won a Chicago-area House seat six years ago. In Congress, he moved quickly into the leadership. As chairman of the Democratic campaign committee in 2006, he played an instrumental role in restoring his party to power [WHAT POWER?] after 12 years in the minority.

Emanuel maintained neutrality during the long primary battle between Obama and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, not surprising given his long-standing ties to the former first lady and his Illinois connections with Obama.

The day after the election there already was jockeying for Cabinet appointments.

Also Obama is thick buddy-buddy with Larry Summers (a Harvard snob), Clinton's former Sec'y of the Treasury who replaced Robert Rubin, called "Mr. Wall Street" when he was in Clinton's crooked administration and who was a big advisor for Obama during his 20-month-long campaign in which he spent 600 million dollars--and Robert Rubin is a true snob asshole. Larry Summers is the fop who proposed we dump all nuclear and polluting waste in Africa. Here's the famous memo Lawrence Summers wrote:

DATE: December 12, 1991
TO: Distribution
FR: Lawrence H. Summers
Subject: GEP

"'Dirty' Industries: Just between you and me, shouldn't the World Bank be
encouraging MORE migration of the dirty industries to the LDCs [Less Developed
Countries]? I can think of three reasons:

1) The measurements of the costs of health impairing pollution depends on the
foregone earnings from increased morbidity and mortality. From this point of
view a given amount of health impairing pollution should be done in the
country with the lowest cost, which will be the country with the lowest wages.
I think the economic logic behind dumping a load of toxic waste in the lowest
wage country is impeccable and we should face up to that.

2) The costs of pollution are likely to be non-linear as the initial
increments of pollution probably have very low cost. I've always though that
under-populated countries in Africa are vastly UNDER-polluted, their air
quality is probably vastly inefficiently low compared to Los Angeles or Mexico
City. Only the lamentable facts that so much pollution is generated by non-
tradable industries (transport, electrical generation) and that the unit
transport costs of solid waste are so high prevent world welfare enhancing
trade in air pollution and waste.

3) The demand for a clean environment for aesthetic and health reasons is
likely to have very high income elasticity. The concern over an agent that
causes a one in a million change in the odds of prostrate cancer is obviously
going to be much higher in a country where people survive to get prostrate
cancer than in a country where under 5 mortality is is 200 per thousand. Also,
much of the concern over industrial atmosphere discharge is about visibility
impairing particulates. These discharges may have very little direct health
impact. Clearly trade in goods that embody aesthetic pollution concerns could
be welfare enhancing. While production is mobile the consumption of pretty air
is a non-tradable."

"The problem with the arguments against all of these proposals for more
pollution in LDCs (intrinsic rights to certain goods, moral reasons, social
concerns, lack of adequate markets, etc.) could be turned around and used more
or less effectively against every Bank proposal for liberalization."

I'd D'rather Obama Than McCain
I have no problem agreeing with the above head. Yes, Obama is a breath of fresh air compared to McCain and PALIN--they were a couple of jokey jokes played on us--it backfired--95% of blacks voted for Obama; 69% Latinos voted for him; 65% of young voters voted for him. That reminds me of the naive hope we kids had in JFK back when he was running against the evil Tricky Dick Nixon and promising us CHANGE via a New Frontier.

In spite of his collusions and misleadings and sort of phony delivery in his speeches, still We the People have dumped our loads on Obama's back and I would chance to say he'd better pay us back with some regulations and reorganizing and renegotiating and get his ass into immediate diplomatic dialog with all the "controversially" concerned of this world--immediate diplomatic dialog with these Islamic jihads especially foisted on us by G.W. Bush, his Royal Saudi Family connections, and his gang of numbskull cutthroats. Too bad Obama probably won't go after Bush with legal proceedings. Plus, it's still not too late to impeach the bastard. We wouldn't be in any of these crises if it hadn't of been for Bush's very stupid and insane decisions and executive enactments.

Good luck, Obama--you'd better go back to Kenya and bring back some Obama family witch doctors--you're gonna need all the Mojo you can get--at least your black side will!
