What you're "supposed" to do is download the image and save it on your own server, so when people view your page they're not putting any additional strain on his server. I think. I am a Luddite moron about these things.

--LHAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26130622.post-64467591429910136672008-08-14T22:28:00.000-07:002008-08-14T22:28:00.000-07:00Well that's totally bizarre. By 1979 I was living in Brooklyn Heights and was enrolled in engineering school, taking 19 credits a semester and working 30 hours a week and making love to my live in boyfriend all the damned time, and even though I hardly ever slept at all, I never got into Manhattan to see Matty any more. So somehow I didn't meet you or Robin though I certainly knew your bass player, Rick and I knew and Ratso. Well, hell, maybe you and I did see each other sometime in Matty's apartment or in the hallway, or on the stairs, or in the street.

Anyway, to bad about Robin. She's too young for the grave. And as far as the Chris Stein shit goes, well, that seems pretty fucking mean and unnecessarily hostile. He (they, whoever) left the other photo alone, though, the one above the David Johansen as Poindexter photo. David Johansen was a Staten Islander, like me, and graduated from the high school that my father taught at. I always meant to ask my father if he remembered him, but I never managed to remember Mr. Johansen when I was around my father. Joan Baez was also a Staten Islander as was Aaron Burr. Such an Island!Marybethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13278520565186414844noreply@blogger.com
