The dailygrowlerhousepianist, for instance, never comments because it's beneath his dignity, though he apologizes for it by saying he doesn't like the metafilters he has to go through to get to us.

Trouble is, as those in the past have put it, politicians say one thing and then go right back to doing the same ole things.....

You are our West Coast angel/heroine though you're a New Yorker at the core.

the staff of Growler angels

Remember that movie "We're No Angels"?The Daily Growlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15052460567863294528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26130622.post-12361531654409922552011-11-18T20:29:27.583-08:002011-11-18T20:29:27.583-08:00Sorry about the last comment that was just "h...Sorry about the last comment that was just "hello." The machine ate my previous two comments (I think). The "hello" was a test of the system. Ahem. I was wondering if you were implying that the regulars are inconsistent, or that the consistent readers were irregular. Which am I? Inconsistently irregular, perhaps.

The Occupy movement is heating up in Berkeley, too. Ironically, the police beat the crap out of a bunch of peacefully assembled students on the "Mario Savio" steps that are dedicated to him with a plaque extolling the virtues of free speech. Ha. History repeats itself. Robert Reich gave the Mario Savio Memorial Lecture the other night standing on the steps rather than in the auditorium. Last minute decision, to show support for the Occupy kids.Marybethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13278520565186414844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26130622.post-15844857387517904652011-11-18T18:17:50.436-08:002011-11-18T18:17:50.436-08:00hello.hello.Marybethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13278520565186414844noreply@blogger.com
